It all began with what I thought was the end.
Growing up, I always had a yearning desire to help others. I was blessed with an unconditional amount of patience, gratitude, and a knowing of the good in all people; even if they couldn’t see it within themselves. Throughout my life I have been through a substantial amount of physical and emotional trauma. As I worked through these scenarios with the help of all of the services I now offer below, I can honestly say I have come out a survivor.Is every day a good day? Of course not. No life is perfect. But do I feel that I have gone down the healing path that’s made me strong enough to share the successful techniques with others? Absolutely.I think the most important thing about seeking alternative medicine is not to become dependent on it, but rather to be taught strategies so that you may continue your healing path independently. Alternative Healing Techniques I Use
Guided Image Therapy
Guided imagery is a stress management technique, where I guide you through as you use your imagination to picture a person, place, or time that makes you feel certain emotions. Imagery is slightly different from other stress management techniques, in that it relies on the use of all of your senses.
CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)
CBT is a plan which helps build a set of skills that enables an individual to be aware of thoughts and emotions; identify how situations, thoughts, and behaviors influence their emotions; and improve those feelings by changing dysfunctional thoughts and behaviors.
EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique aka Tapping)
EFT tapping, often simply called tapping, is a technique used to address emotional and physical pain. By gently tapping on nine meridian points while focusing on the pain you want to address, you are able to restore your body’s energy and bring it into balance.
Energy Healing
Energy Healing is a technique based on the belief that a vital energy flows through the human body. The goal of energy healing is to balance the energy flow in the patient, resulting in reduction of stress and anxiety and promotion of well-being.
Nutritional Therapy
This plan is essentially the re-evaluation of foods you eat every day and alternating them to better align with your healing goals. The different things we ingest have a HUGE impact on our moods, energy levels and overall well being.
Aromatherapy/Reflexology
Reflexology is a method of treatment using massage to the reflex areas found in the feet and the hands. Aromatherapy is the practice of using essential oils for therapeutic benefit. When absorbed by certain pressure points, the scent molecules in the essential oils travel from the olfactory nerves directly to the brain and especially impact the amygdala, the emotional center of the brain.
Sound Bath Therapy
Sound bath healing is a meditative experience where participants relax and listen to resonant sounds from instruments like gongs, singing bowls, and tuning forks, promoting relaxation, stress reduction, and a meditative state. This form of healing uses vibrations to put the body into a deep meditative rest.
Self Empowerment Dance Classes
Not only does dancing help improve your soul-to-body connection, it also gives you the confidence to accept your body as it is and appreciate its own beauty, movement and rhythm. It also allows you to change the perception of yourself and pushes you to remain in the present moment. Dance has personally been my greatest personal healing outlet!
Customized Meditations
Majority of people find it extremely difficult to meditate. Wether it be because they can’t concentrate or the words that are being spoken to them just aren’t relatable enough. With my customized meditations, I tailor and record your very own segments based on your individual goals.
